Representatives of UDC asked the Iron County Commission on June 22 to approve a permit to film motorsports promotional material on Public Road South (Braffitts Creek Road, Road 3200, Subdivision Phase 2) on Sept. 11–12, 2026; the commission approved the permit.
Caden Evans and Bobby Allen identified themselves as UDC representatives and told the commission they had filmed at the location previously, had coordinated safety and law enforcement, and planned a Friday–Saturday shoot to collect promotional footage. "We've done it a couple times already and got a lot of great material for promoting," Evans said. The applicants said they would use similar safety protocols to those used in prior years.
Committee member (Speaker 4) moved to approve the filming permit, the chair (Speaker 2) seconded, and the commission approved the motion by voice vote.
The permit covers filming on the county-designated public road noted in the application and lists the dates September 11 and 12, 2026. No additional permitting conditions or fees were stated on the record at the meeting; the commission moved on after the approval.
