The motion carried, with a tally recorded as 10 ayes, 0 nays and one absence (Commission Member Hanneman).
Commission Member Halverson then moved, seconded by Commission Member Gadd, to adopt Resolution 2025-02 proposing an amendment to Chapter 4 of the Hopkins City Charter pertaining to the year of municipal elections and to submit that amendment to voters. That motion also carried, recorded as 10 ayes, 0 nays and one absence (Hanneman).
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the minutes from its Feb. 18, 2024 regular meeting (motion by Commission Member Halverson; second by Commission Member Shirley), and members moved to adjourn at 5:45 p.m. (motion by Commission Member White; second by Commission Member Maurer). City Clerk Amy Domeier attested the meeting minutes.
