Crystal R. Baitman is seeking a special exception (0155-2025) to operate a residential business offering one-on-one fitness coaching for senior residents at 42 Willow Moss Way, staff told the Perry City Council during a Nov. 4 pre-council meeting.
Miss Carson briefed the council, saying Baitman is a veteran and that the use would be limited to a portion of the home. Carson said the property is near Mossy Creek Middle School and is surrounded by R2 zoning; she added the Planning Commission recommended approval and that there had been no negative feedback from residents during the Planning Commission hearing. Carson said the full staff report will be read at the formal council meeting.
No formal council action was taken during the pre-council session; the special-exception application was listed on the council meeting agenda for public hearing and action.
If the council considers restrictions tied to school proximity, that would be reflected in the formal staff report and any motion presented at the meeting.
