The board continued its review of a proposed Golf Cave tenant fit‑out and discussed mitigation measures requested at prior meetings. Applicant representatives said the franchise does not intend to apply for a liquor license and will prohibit open containers on the premises; staff training and signage will reinforce that rule. "We will put that in the signage and in reservation emails," one owner said.
The team also described accessibility measures and building‑code coordination with the plan examiner: the tenant will provide documentation demonstrating 20% of the tenant fit‑out construction cost is allocated to accessibility improvements (an option that can substitute for certain accessibility upgrades), and the mezzanine will be limited to a maximum of 10 occupants so that a single egress will suffice under code. The applicant agreed to façade and entry upgrades, removal of a disused ticket‑booth window, and improved lighting and tile work at the front entrance. The landlord reported lease constraints and rooftop load considerations that prevent EV chargers and rooftop solar installations at this time.
Board members encouraged clear posted occupancy limits for the mezzanine and for signage and website notices that direct patrons to permitted behavior and available parking. The board left outstanding technical issues to the building department and to final permit review.
