Council appoints Greg Smith to Carrollton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Carrollton City Council appointed Greg Smith to the Carrollton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau board during its March meeting.
Staff told the council that a vacancy had opened when a board member resigned and recommended appointing Greg Smith, founder and owner of Printers Ale Manufacturing, to serve the remainder of the term. If appointed, Smith’s term would be effective immediately and run through June 30, 2026, after which he would be eligible for reappointment.
A councilmember moved to appoint Smith to the CVB; the council approved the appointment by voice vote.
The council then moved to adjourn.
