The Stratford City Council met in special session on March 31, 2025, at Stratford City Hall. Mayor Brian Ouverson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; Council members Catherine Bergman, Carol Bergman, Terry Bryan and Clark Conklin were present and Council member Chase Haman was absent. City Manager Kim Leeds attended.
Councilmember Catherine Bergman moved to approve the tentative agenda; Councilmember Clark Conklin seconded. The council recorded aye votes from Catherine Bergman, Carol Bergman, Terry Bryan and Clark Conklin and the motion carried.
At 7:01 p.m., Councilmember Terry Bryan moved to open the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026 proposed property tax levy; Councilmember Clark Conklin seconded. The roll call vote was recorded as aye by all members present and the motion carried. The record shows there were no written or oral comments submitted during the public hearing.
At 7:03 p.m., Councilmember Terry Bryan moved to close the public hearing; Councilmember Catherine Bergman seconded. The council again voted unanimously to close the hearing.
The council moved and unanimously adopted a motion to adjourn at 7:05 p.m., with Bryan making the motion and Conklin seconding. The meeting record does not show any further action or scheduling related to the proposed levy.
