The Starmont Community School District Board, meeting by teleconference on Oct. 25, 2024, approved a vendor bid for a new freezer, hired a head boys track coach and appointed a prom sponsor, concluding the special meeting at 7:54 AM.
Board President Tony Recker called the meeting to order at 7:30 AM and explained the board was meeting electronically because it was impractical for all members to attend in person. Roll call showed Board members Julie Uhlenkamp, Jacob Moellers and Vicki Althoff present; Jason Gearhart was absent. Superintendent Robert Busch and Business Manager and Board Secretary Katie Taylor attended.
The board first approved the meeting agenda unanimously after a motion by Board member Julie Uhlenkamp and a second from Vicki Althoff.
