St. Charles council approves FY26 wage resolutions, multiple fund transfers and Main Street repair contract

The council also approved Resolution 7C-2025 authorizing the monthly transfer to the sewer sinking fund for FY26 (motion by Mayor Pro Tem Megan Allison; second by Blomme), and Resolution 7D-2025 authorizing a transfer from Fire/Rescue savings to the city general checking account (motion by Blomme; second by Brockett). All votes were recorded as unanimous.
Three plats of survey were approved: Resolution 7E-2025 (Egli/Kephart split), Resolution 7F-2025 (Egli parcel split) and Resolution 7G-2025 (Kephart Acres 2025). Each plat passed on unanimous votes following motions and seconds recorded in the minutes.
Separately, under unfinished business the council approved the bid from Iowa Contracting to perform Main Street concrete and bump repair (motion by Blomme, second by Mayor Pro Tem Megan Allison). The motion passed unanimously.
