City Planner Cindy Nash presented the application and said it raised no major concerns and was consistent with feedback from the City Engineer. Planning Commission Chair Stan Kolasa opened and closed the public hearing on the item during the meeting.
The commission approved the recommendation by motion. Commissioner Cody Vojacek moved to recommend approval, and Commissioner Chad Olson seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The recommendation included four conditions: that a building permit and certificate of occupancy be obtained; that construction substantially conform to the survey prepared by Bogart, Pederson & Associates, Inc. dated Nov. 10, 2025, and the building elevations prepared by Minneapolis Garage Builders dated Nov. 20, 2025; that the property remain in substantial conformance with the City Zoning Ordinance and City Code; and that the accessory buildings be for personal use only and not used for home occupation or business purposes.
The commission's action was a recommendation; any final permit issuance and enforcement of the listed conditions will follow the city's normal permitting and inspection process.
