Stratford council schedules April 21 public hearing on FY2026 budget; approves agenda, adjourns

Council Member Terry Bryan moved to approve the tentative agenda; Council Member Carol Bergman seconded the motion. A roll-call vote recorded Catherine Bergman, Carol Bergman, Terry Bryan and Clark Conklin voting aye and the motion carried.
Council Member Carol Bergman moved to set a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget for Monday, April 21, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.; Council Member Catherine Bergman seconded. The four council members present voted aye on the motion, scheduling the hearing and opening the formal budget comment period to the public.
City Manager Kim Leeds was present as City Manager/Clerk for the session. Council Member Chase Haman was recorded as absent.
Council Member Terry Bryan moved to adjourn the special meeting at 7:35 p.m.; Council Member Clark Conklin seconded. The motion carried on a roll-call vote and Mayor Ouverson closed the meeting.
The public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget is scheduled for April 21, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at Stratford City Hall; the hearing provides an opportunity for residents to comment on the proposed budget before final adoption.
