Dallas Plantation elects moderator and assessors, establishes Budget and School Board representation

Dallas Plantation voters elected Christopher Farmer as moderator at the town’s annual meeting on June 12, 2026. Christopher Farmer was elected by written ballot after a nomination by Linda Jones and a second by Linda Caspar; the clerk, Katrina Gacki, then administered the oath.
Voters elected Sarita Noonkester to a three-year assessor term (vote recorded 17-0) and selected Linda Jones as First Assessor for a one-year term (vote recorded 15-0). Elizabeth Flynn was elected as an elected member of the Budget Committee for a two-year term (vote recorded 18-0). Reginald Hammond was elected to a three-year School Board Committee position (vote recorded 18-0).
On a procedural motion by Mark Bridges seconded by Linda Jones, the meeting accepted Articles 6–15 as a single slate; that omnibus motion covered standard operational authorizations such as carrying forward balances, tax interest and abatement policy, sale procedures for tax-acquired real estate, and the Assessors’ authority to accept grants and donations within statutory limits. Those statutory references included Title 30‑A §5682 and 36 M.R.S. §943‑C where the minutes note specific statutory processes.
The meeting recorded 19 registered voters in attendance and adjourned at 6:58 p.m. The results were attested by Clerk Katrina Gacki on June 23, 2026.
