The chair reported the commission will staff the AMP pop-up series with a first local appearance on June 30 from 6:00–7:30 p.m.; several commissioners signed up to attend and to take responsibility for supplies at various dates in the summer pop-up schedule.
Members coordinated printable activities for July (music-themed Mad Libs and other printables) and set a target of having print-ready files about two weeks before each event so materials can be printed and prepared. Stephanie agreed to bring supplies for events when needed and Jocelyn and others confirmed coverage across the three pop-up dates.
On parade participation, the chair said the commission plans to be the first group in the July 4 parade (10 a.m.–noon). Several members planned to ride on the float (Matt and Mike were identified as riders) and the chair confirmed the city can provide a lift to assist riders who need accommodation. Members discussed staging logistics (meet at Target parking lot around 8:30 a.m.) and the parade route ending near Holy Tabernacle.
Next steps: finalize staffing for AMP pop-ups and confirm who will bring supplies for each date; confirm parade logistics and transportation for float riders.
