The Auburn Common Council completed its CF1 tax phase-in review and approved findings of compliance or substantial compliance for numerous local businesses.

Auburn Gear was reported at about 120 employees, with staff noting investigations into automation and use of interns; the council found the firm in compliance. Kitech and OSL, presented together as colocated operations, reported roughly 69 and 286 employees respectively and were found in substantial compliance. SCP Real Estate LLC reported several capital equipment purchases (reportedly $2.8 million, $1.8 million and $1.5 million items) and a potential product-line expansion while employment remained steady; council found it substantially compliant. Metal Technologies described installation of a second production line arriving in July; Straw Band Group showed significant renovation and retail usage in its uptown facility. Phoenix Auburn Industrial reported that Thermatru is leasing a building and employing about 15 people on site. Motions to find each firm in compliance or substantial compliance were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote as recorded in the transcript.
