The funds will be used for drug screening and other program-related expenses to help maintain recovery services and supportive housing.
“Recovery is not just about treatment. It’s about creating a support system that gives people the opportunity to rebuild their lives,” the Council President said, urging continued local partnerships to improve public safety, strengthen families and support long-term sobriety. Council members invited representatives from the three organizations forward for a photo with elected officials.
The council recorded the allocation as a communication from the Board of Works and did not take separate action beyond acknowledging the award and welcoming the organizations to the meeting.
