Hogansville selects Atlas as top-ranked firm for city transportation planning work

Atlas proposed a flat fee of $49,900 for an initial scope that includes a traffic impact study, a future road map and conceptual design work; that fee is roughly half the city’s budgeted amount, leaving capacity for additional on-call work under the contract.
Councilors noted as an advantage Atlas’s model of assigning a dedicated staff person to the city to ensure continuity and familiarity with local needs. The group reached consensus to select Atlas and directed staff to bring the recommendation forward to the Regular Meeting for formal conversation and action. The minutes indicate a follow-up conversation with the firm will outline the plan and expectations before finalizing the scope.
