The council directed staff to place the recommendation on the Regular Meeting agenda for formal approval and to fund the work from SPLOST dollars allocated to Parks, Recreation and Trails. City staff noted the project will require a generator and scaffolding because equipment cannot be brought directly onto the site, which complicates logistics and contributed to the higher contractor estimates.
