Commissioner Charles Wilkins moved to accept Hamilton Ford’s bid, Commissioner Kenny White seconded, and the motion passed by majority vote.
The sheriff reported that the annual jail inspection went well; the minutes note a single issue pertaining to a disciplinary policy that was resolved after technical research. Geske also provided the jail roster: 33 inmates total, including 13 from Lamb County, two from Floyd County, one from Cochran County and 20 inmates from Parmer County.
