ISD 197 ratifies 2025–2027 Administrative Assistants contract with Teamsters Local 320
Summary

The School Board approved the 2025–2027 agreement between Independent School District 197 and Teamsters Local 320 for approximately 60 administrative assistants.
Human Resources Director Tye Michaels presented terms of the tentative agreement, which the union had already ratified. The contract includes salary increases of 1.25% effective July 1, 2025, and 1.75% effective July 1, 2026, the addition of a $0.70 per hour longevity payment for employees with five continuous years of service beginning July 1, 2025, and modifications to insurance copays, deductibles and prescription rates effective July 1, 2026. The district’s contribution levels for single and family coverage remain at 95% and 80%, respectively, per the presentation.
The board voted 5–0 to approve the agreement.
