Commissioners noted those constraints and also flagged a dimensional issue: one proposed lot may be about 40 feet narrower than the R-2 zoning requirement, which could require a variance if rezoning is not pursued.
Commissioner Shari Denny made the motion to recommend approval; Commission Chair Jeff Borash seconded and the motion carried. No members of the public attended the hearing. The recommendation will proceed to the City Council meeting on March 9, 2026 for final consideration.
The commission's discussion emphasized site constraints and the potential need for a variance or zoning adjustment rather than denying the plat; the commission did not set conditions beyond forwarding the recommendation.
