The Stanton Comm School District Board of Directors unanimously approved three administrative measures at its Jan. 14, 2026 regular meeting.
The board approved a motion to update district bank accounts to list Cameron Lewellen as school board president (motion by John McDonald; second by Zach Ward). The board also approved the At-Risk and Drop-Out Prevention Plan (motion by Zach Ward; second by Jackie Hoyt) and the District Developed Service Delivery Plan (motion by Zach Ward; second by John McDonald). All motions passed with all members present voting in favor (4-0); Director Ryan Hart was absent.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the consent agenda, which included minutes, reports, bills and personnel actions. Under personnel the board accepted the resignation of Tom Johnson as bus driver.
The meeting, held in the STEM Room, adjourned at 6:05 p.m. The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
