Tom Bugby of CourseCo gave a 10‑minute update to the Rohnert Park council on Foxtail Golf Club’s operations and community programs.
Bugby said CourseCo manages 47 courses and that Foxtail offers two 18‑hole courses, a 26‑stall driving range with technology, food and beverage facilities, youth and community programming (including the First Tee of the North Coast), and environmental stewardship highlighted by Audubon International certification since 2021. He said Foxtail typically sees 84,000–93,000 rounds per year and that CourseCo has invested over $2,000,000 into the course’s infrastructure since 2018, including cart‑path work, bunker projects and irrigation improvements.
Bugby described community events hosted at the course (Easter egg hunts, Halloween events, holiday activities) and said the company is exploring phased driving‑range enhancements intended to attract non‑golfing families and create gathering spaces. Council members praised environmental certification and community outreach; no council action was required.
