Lake Bronson — During public comments at the July 15 council meeting, resident A. Larson raised a concern about an unexpectedly high water bill and asked the council to review it.
"My water bill was high and I cannot see how it can be so high," Larson said. Mayor B. Schmiedeberg responded that he had spoken with Larson and would review her next month's bill; "if we must, we will adjust it then," he said. The council did not take immediate formal action at the meeting beyond that commitment to review the subsequent bill.
The exchange was recorded as part of routine citizen concerns; no formal appeal process or adjustment amount was specified during the session. The clerk and mayor will monitor the account and report back if any billing correction is required at a future meeting.
