The Lake Benton City Council approved routine business items at its March 16 meeting, including the minutes from the March 2 regular meeting and payment of claims presented to the city.
Claims included invoices from Banner Associates, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, L-P Rural Water and others; the council authorized payment after review. The council also reviewed and approved the February law enforcement calls-for-service update.
Mayor Patrick Haynes reported the Personnel Committee has met about the Assistant Clerk position and the council will proceed with the hiring process. The council set its next regular meeting for April 6, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. and adjourned after the scheduled business items were completed.
