Board approves routine minutes, bills, personnel recommendations and preliminary 2026–27 budget

Later in the meeting the board reviewed a lengthy personnel recommendation sheet with resignations, new hires and transfers. The board approved the personnel slate "conditioned upon passing background checks and district‑mandated drug screening," as moved and seconded on the record.
During the second reading of the 2026–27 preliminary district budget, staff reported a maintenance change and said subsequent grant and state aid notices had further improved the projected balance. The board moved to approve the preliminary 2026–27 district budget as presented; the motion passed.
Finally, the board voted to adjourn into closed session, citing Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(f) to discuss the personal history of an individual; roll call votes were recorded before the meeting entered closed session.
