The Richmond Hill City Planning Commission unanimously approved its May 11, 2026 agenda and a bundled consent package at a meeting held in City Hall Council Chambers.
Commissioner Chris Rairford moved to approve the agenda; Commissioner Lavetris Singleton seconded and the motion carried with all five commissioners voting yes. Later in the meeting Commissioner Charles Blanks moved to approve the consent agenda, which Commissioner Singleton seconded; that motion also carried unanimously.
The consent agenda included approval of the April 13, 2026 meeting minutes; an initial site plan and building elevations for Fellowship at Heartwood Senior Living, located along Belfast Keller Road and Heartwood Avenue South; an initial site plan for a Public Storage facility at 3035 U.S. 17; and a preliminary plat recommendation for Pine Bluff Drive. These items were advanced as part of the consent package without separate public hearings or individual roll-call discussion at this meeting.
Per the meeting record, Director of Planning & Zoning Brian Crooks reported there were no separate zoning actions on the docket. The commission adjourned at 6:14 p.m.
The approved consent items will move forward per the Planning Department’s usual review and permitting processes; staff said more details will be provided as those reviews progress.
