Resident Martha Wentworth, who proposed the rental plan, corrected earlier statements about how insurance reimbursements for recreation programs are handled and described how the town would fund and operate the rent.fun equipment. "[Martha Wentworth] explained the insurance reimbursement procedure and corrected his stated information regarding the football program," the minutes state.
Resident Tod Detre, participating by Zoom, said the rentals would be useful for visitors and groups. "When I have visitors they will be able to rent them and go as a group," Detre said.
Select Board members debated funding sources before the revised motion; no formal amendment beyond the funding split was recorded. The board voted to proceed; the equipment purchase will be funded as approved and overseen per the manager's and proponents' plan.
