Poolesville commissioners voted June 22 to release remaining construction bonds for the Westerly Grove subdivision after consulting Clark Azar's June 16 recommendation and verifying as-built materials and test results.
Staff identified three bonds held by the town tied to the Westerly Grove development. Clark Azar reviewed as-built drawings and construction testing, found them in compliance with engineering standards, and recommended release. The council read the bond numbers into the record and amended the motion for specificity before approving the release.
Motion language adopted by the board identified bond numbers 9328401, CMS0342944 and CMS0342945 and referenced Clark Azar letter 100.108 dated June 16, 2026. A commissioner moved the motion (final motion recorded by Sarah) and Brian seconded; the commission voted in favor with no opposition recorded.
Town staff noted the pump station, sewer system work and materials met plan specifications. The release restores funds to the developer following completion and town acceptance of the construction work; the town will continue to monitor related projects as necessary.
