Before the vote, all three commissioners disclosed conflicts of interest because the budget includes pay for elected officials. With those conflicts noted on the record, a motion to adopt Budget Order 2027‑01 was made and seconded. The motion passed with the board voting in favor; no commissioners opposed.
The board's action finalizes appropriations and authorizes county departments to proceed under the adopted spending plan for fiscal year 2027. Staff said the adopted budget package will be posted to the county website and implementation will proceed under county financial policies.
