The application requested two signs of roughly 193.7 square feet and one of roughly 143.1 square feet; staff said the signs comply with other sign code limits and are appropriate in scale for the grocery building’s location and visibility needs.
Council asked whether the illuminated signs would create light intrusion for nearby homes. Vargas and staff answered that the building‑permit process will require the building division to review illumination so the lighting "is not going to the neighboring properties." No members of the public spoke during the hearing. Council adopted the resolution granting the conditional use permit on roll call.
