The Proctor City Council on Aug. 5 approved the consent agenda after pulling items 4A and 4B for separate consideration and then moved through a series of event approvals.
Council approved the Lakehead Racing Association XR Northern Storm Challenge (Aug. 9), the Proctor Hoge Head pep parade (Aug. 15), Proctor Hoge Head parade (Aug. 17), the Keyboard Lounge Hoge Head lot party (Aug. 17), and the Lakehead Racing Association Monster Truck Nitro Tour (Sept. 14). For the XR event councilors confirmed Administrator Rich had ensured appropriate insurance listing the city as an additional insured.
Council also approved recommended street closures for Aug. 17 and clarified that any vendors operating in closed areas must obtain the city's vendor/pedaler license and coordinate with city hall.
All listed event motions were seconded and approved by the council during the consent-agenda process.
