The Long Beach City Council approved the claims and disbursements lists and added election judge wages of $756.15 to the approved amounts (motion by Ken Moe; second by Gerald Rust). Bill Rood provided an election update and reported that budget vs. actual expenses were on target year-to-date.
The council approved liquor licenses for The Minnewaska House, Captain’s Bar and Grill LLC, and The Minnewaska Golf Club for 2019 (motion by Bill Rood; second by Gerald Jensen). Gerald Jensen reported on road repairs: patching of Golf Course Road from a washout was completed and a DNR-repaired culvert was noted. In new business, a realtor presented assessed land values for the City Hall property (assessments by Darin Johnson); the council discussed the valuations and took no action, deferring further discussion to December.
