Fred Sandal presented the results of a Green Valley Resort impervious-surface study to the Long Beach City Council on Dec. 12, 2018, reporting that GRV is currently within the municipality's allowed impervious-surface limits.
Sandal told the council GRV has not yet informed the city how it intends to allocate the usage of remaining buildable area. Hometown Planning will follow up with GRV to obtain that information. The minutes state that, until GRV notifies the council, building permits affecting the resort's remaining area will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
Council members did not record further action or conditions tied to the study in the minutes; staff (Hometown Planning) was directed to follow up and report back.
