The Riverbank City Council approved a set of engineers' reports and ordered the levy and collection of annual assessments for multiple landscape, lighting and storm-drain districts for fiscal year 2026'27.
Staff described district budgets and proposed per-parcel increases for several areas, including Consolidated, Eastwood Estates, Ridgewood Place, River Cove and Sierra Vista Estates; most districts either had modest per-parcel increases (for example, $15.89 or $29.61 in some consolidated zones) or no increase where reserves were healthy. Staff also described proposed infill planting and walking-path repairs in Crossroads and identified modest storm-drain assessment increases for Heartlands (about $3.37) and Sterling Ridge (about $5.89).
Council opened and closed public hearings on each item with no public speakers and approved motions for the engineers' reports and levies by roll call. Item 10.2 (Riverbank Crossroads Landscape & Lighting District) required Council Member Call to recuse; when returned to open session the motion passed 4'0 with the recusal. Other items (10.1, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7) carried 5'0.
The approved actions fund ongoing maintenance, street lighting, capital improvements, and storm-drain operations within the affected districts and establish the levy for FY 2026'27.
