County claims of $4,844,257.56 and payroll of $3,361,364.28 were accepted; the county's cash balance was reported as $123,107,462.96. Travel claims totaled $27,211.67. The Board accepted two federal grants from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership: $6,375.46 for the Sheriff’s Office and $2,269.79 for Juvenile Probation to pay for bulletproof vests. The Board also accepted a $3,000 Dollar General Literacy Foundation grant for the 2026 Summer Reading Program at the Yerington Branch Library. The consent agenda also included approval of May meeting minutes and assessor roll adjustments.
Commissioner David Hockaday moved to approve the entire consent agenda; Commissioner John Cassinelli seconded. The motion passed 5-0.
