The Indian Hill Board of Education completed its organizational business and then moved into regular session Monday, swearing in trustees, electing officers and approving committee assignments for 2026.
The board conducted oaths of office for new and returning members. Tim Schwiker took the oath to serve as a member of the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District Board of Education. Nolan Marks and Barrett Tullus also affirmed their oaths.
After adopting the organizational meeting agenda by motion, members nominated and elected officers for the calendar year. Barrett Tullus was announced as president for 2026 and Rob Warful was elected vice president. Trustees then appointed committee chairs: Rob Warful (Instruction & Technology), Nolan Marks (Operations), Nikki Singh (Personnel & Professional Relations) and the president to chair Finance & Audit. Warful was also named the board’s legislative liaison and to continue service with the Indian Hill Foundation.
The board approved the consent agenda and accepted routine items in the superintendent’s and treasurer’s reports, including approval of minutes, financial reports, technology contracts and a $1,000 donation to the boys basketball program. The board also approved a resolution to purchase roofing replacement services for Indian Hill High School through OC AEA and notified Embus Roofing that it had the contract pending final scheduling.
The organizational meeting recessed briefly for a board photograph before the regular meeting began. The board adjourned at the meeting’s close.
