Josh delivered the maintenance report at the Dec. 9 council meeting, saying the Kubota performed well during a light snow and that pond discharges are complete for the winter. He said he is sanding and painting picnic tables and is compiling tasks related to the city’s 125th Celebration; council members said Brandon Diekmann has been coordinating some efforts and plans to attend a future meeting to discuss Celebration details.
Josh said he will check with Justin to confirm whether Lee’s Locker sewer was jetted this year; the minutes record a council prompt that annual jetted maintenance should be performed. He also reported the equipment market has shifted since C&B was bought out and that he is checking lease prices from other vendors, but said no leasing decision will be made until closer to the purchase time.
On procedural items, the council noted missing park equipment and agreed to keep the item on the agenda while staff seeks replacement options. The minutes record that Davi Bullerman was informed the land is ready to sell and will take action; the minutes do not include sale terms or prices. The council approved the maintenance report by motion.
The meeting adjourned; the next regular council meeting was set for Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
