Lismore explores piggyback resurfacing, approves snow-pusher blade spending cap

At the Jan. 13 meeting maintenance staff member Josh reported a streetlight outage and said Nobles Coop Electric was contacted. Josh told council he will contact County staff member Zach Reker to determine whether the city can piggyback on the county's resurfacing contract to obtain better pricing and will bring quotes to the next meeting.
Josh said the snow-pusher blades are deteriorating and provided a replacement quote of about $475–$485. The council approved a motion (moved by Ryan Schieck, seconded by Austin Garms) to approve purchase or reworking of blades for no more than $485; Josh was instructed to also price welding options with Chandler Coop to determine the best value.
The minutes note the cost of the leased tractor from C&B has increased to $50 per hour and reference a total of $5,000 in association with that rate; Josh will obtain competing quotes from Titan and NewTec and report back. The maintenance report and associated motions were recorded as approved.
