The Lynd City Council unanimously approved an updated city code at its Oct. 15 meeting after a review by City Attorney John Engels. Mayor Justin Guggisberg moved to adopt the revisions, Don Williams seconded, and the motion passed with all councilmembers voting in favor.
Engels told the council he would add a table of contents to the document and send a written summary to the Marshall Independent. He will then email the completed code to Clerk/Treasurer Sue Paradis for publication and distribution to the public.
The approval followed the attorney’s presentation of the draft ordinance and updated code language. Council members did not request changes at the meeting. The action completes the council’s current review cycle and asks staff to make the code easily available to residents through the city’s communication channels.
The council also closed a brief public hearing on ordinance review earlier in the evening before taking up regular business. No further ordinance actions were scheduled at the meeting; the council will continue routine administrative and budget work in the coming weeks.
