The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Winter Harbor approved meeting minutes, two warrants and the treasurer’s report during their July 28, 2025 meeting at the Town Office.
The board approved the Selectmen meeting minutes of July 14, 2025 with a correction to the accounts‑payable warrant number (vote: Approved 2‑0). It also approved Warrant #4 (dated July 22, 2025) and Warrant #5 (dated July 25, 2025) by the same margin.
Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb presented the treasurer’s report dated July 25, 2025, which the board approved 2‑0. The report recorded a general ledger balance of $1,051,871.52 and a six‑month certificate of deposit totaling $105,382.87. Investment accounts showed bond market values rising from $3,499,504.31 on May 31 to $3,522,980.90 on June 30.
The Tax Collector’s Report (also dated July 25, 2025) was approved 2‑0. The report listed tax receivables and collection rates: FY25 receivables of $34,313.67 (98.61% collected) and FY24 receivables of $20,055.88 (99.05% collected).
Payroll and accounts‑payable totals were recorded: Town payroll #4 at $14,272.70 and Town A/P #5 at $368,468.83, for a combined total of $382,741.53.
