McIntosh council signs off on payroll filing, treasurer's bond, grant signatories and remaining bills

The McIntosh City Council approved a set of routine administrative measures at its Dec. 4 meeting.
Councilmember Luke Syverson moved, and Councilmember Beth Hagen seconded, authorization for FarmChek Services, Inc. to file the city's 2025 payroll, 1099 and 1098 tax forms; the motion carried.
Councilmember Syverson also moved to approve the Treasurer's Bond Certificate; Councilmember Mark Simonson seconded. The minutes note that Melissa Finseth was appointed treasurer on May 23, 2016, and that her official bond was fixed by the council at $200,000. The motion carried.
The council adopted a resolution naming Mayor Toby Strom and City Clerk/Treasurer Melissa Finseth as legal contract signatories for the Greater Minnesota Small Cities (Tier II Cities) Housing Aid Grant Program Contract, and authorized Finseth to be the housing grantee representative and primary point of contact under that contract. Councilmembers approved these actions by motion and the minutes record them as carried.
Councilmember Syverson moved to approve the remaining November bills in the amount of $6,752.38; Councilmember Hagen seconded and the motion carried. The council then moved to adjourn; Mayor Strom declared the meeting adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
