Milaca school board approves 2026–27 calendar, personnel assignments and food-service policy updates

Chairperson Aimee Struffert called the Independent School District No. 912 Board of Education to order at 6:01 p.m. on April 6, 2026, for a special meeting in the ALC.
Board member Nathan Neuhart moved to approve the meeting agenda; Board member Sara Grieser seconded. The motion carried unanimously, 7–0.
On a single consent agenda, the board approved the 2026–27 school calendar and three letters of assignment: Lisa Greninger as Title 1 Tutor (effective July 1, 2025–June 30, 2027); Kristine Kragt as Payroll Specialist (effective July 1, 2025–June 30, 2027); and Kim Shores as Assistant to the Superintendent/HR Specialist (effective July 1, 2025–June 30, 2027). Board member Jennifer Corrow moved to approve the consent agenda; Board member Caity Eggen seconded. The motion carried, 7–0.
The board also completed a first reading and approval of policy changes described as minor updates made to comply with a food-service triennial assessment, and approved a public-notice form for the Child Nutrition Program Civil Rights Complaint Procedure. The motions approving the policy adjustments and the public-notice procedure were included in the consent motion and passed as part of the unanimous vote.
No items were brought forward under "Superintendent and Board Member Items." Board member Jennifer Corrow moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:06 p.m.; Board member Sara Larsen seconded, and the motion carried 7–0. Minutes were signed and dated April 20, 2026.
