Representatives from Stirling Brandworks presented a live walkthrough of the redesigned Wellesley Free Library website at the trustees’ May 13 meeting and demonstrated new features and mobile responsiveness.
Jackie and Jared of Stirling Brandworks explained the updated site structure, showed staff editing functions and confirmed that the new site meets ADA and WCAG accessibility standards. Library staff received training last week on website editing. Director Jamie Jurgensen thanked Stirling and staff members who assisted with the project. The trustees were told the official launch date is June 1.
Trustees did not take a vote on the website; the presentation served to inform the board and acknowledge staff and vendor work ahead of the public launch.
