Staff explained the project is at the replat stage and that Nathan Walker, a surveyor at CHA, is coordinating the draft plat. Commissioners and staff told LaFleur that preliminary house layouts exist but are not final and that plans become public records only after the replat is formally brought before the town council. Staff indicated the replat should be available for council review and public inspection likely next week.
Staff also described the likely lot consolidation (several small historic lots consolidated into fewer, wider lots to accommodate modern homes and off-street parking) and outlined the subsequent process: advertise the work to contractors, accept proposals, and select a contractor based on terms that best meet redevelopment goals. Resident requests for early distribution of drafts were declined pending formal submittal, with staff citing public-record and liability considerations.
