The University Heights City Council approved payment of warrants totaling $161,197.80 covering payroll and vendor invoices for the Jan. 14–Feb. 10, 2026 period. The warrants listing included payroll payments, utility bills and vendor invoices. Notable line items included a Think Iowa City hotel/motel tax allocation of $37,451.76 and Shive Hattery engineering invoices related to Melrose Complete Ave street improvements totaling $21,801.70.
