Staff estimated a storm-sewer fee could raise roughly $30,000 annually for a storm-sewer fund to pay for projects, and indicated the draft ordinance and fee schedule would be presented as a first reading at the next council meeting followed by a public hearing. The administrator suggested a tiered approach (small/medium/large parcels) and noted the fee would be set in the city fee schedule, not embedded as a fixed dollar amount in the ordinance.
