Pine Springs council approves routine business: minutes, bills, financials, canvass and Code Red

The Pine Springs City Council handled several routine agenda items on Nov. 12, approving amended October minutes, the November bill list, current financial statements and the canvass numbers submitted by Washington County.
Mayor Christensen moved to approve the October minutes with an amendment deleting a sentence on page four; the amended motion passed unanimously (24-103). The council approved the November bills after discussion; Councilmember Adams asked about a bill from Nugent Seal Coating and Councilmember Dahl requested more detailed reporting on work performed by contractor KEJ (24-104). Financial statements were approved (24-105); the mayor noted a Microsoft bill that will be forwarded to “Nick” for the December meeting. The council also approved the canvass numbers submitted by Washington County (24-106).
On emergency notifications, Mayor Christensen moved to approve an agreement with Washington County for the Code Red process; Adams seconded and the agreement passed with all members present voting yes (24-107).
