"The purpose of the condemnation is for us to be able to acquire the property that's needed to finish the Sadi Heights stormwater mitigation plan with what's referred to by engineering as the big dig and construction of the stormwater pond," she said.
Staff did not record a pre-council vote on the resolution; Miss Newbie presented the item as the "next step" for council to authorize exercise of eminent domain. Council members were given an opportunity to ask questions in pre-council; the transcript does not show a final decision or vote during the pre-council portion and indicates the item will be considered during the regular meeting.
