The Kenosha License and Permit Committee voted on Feb. 2 to approve findings of fact and recommended discipline for El Patio Restaurant Inc., suspending its Class B beer and liquor license for 30 consecutive days and assessing 85 demerit points.
City counsel and staff presented the committee with a packet that included the findings, conclusions of law and recommendations; the recommendation to suspend came to the committee with a prior 3–2 report in the backup materials. The committee moved to approve the findings and recommendation and carried the motion in an on‑the‑record vote.
No members of the public presented new evidence during the item; the motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The committee recorded no further conditions in open session; staff indicated the recommended sanction would be implemented according to the department's disciplinary processes.
The committee moved on to subsequent agenda items following the vote.
