The Board of Trustees approved a business license for G Beltran Auto Repair during the Jan. 14 meeting after the Building Commissioner and Office Manager presented the application. Landlord Luigi DiBalsamo and tenant Gonzalo Beltran attended the meeting.
Building Commissioner Robert Gonzini told the board the building must be brought up to code, including plumbing, electrical work and EPA‑compliant storage, before the business may commence activities that would pose environmental or safety risks. The board approved the license with specific conditions: no transmission work, no tire work, no engine replacement, no recycling on site, and no cars stored in the rear of the building with engines installed.
Trustees agreed to the conditions by a show of hands; the minutes do not record a roll‑call vote or recorded tallies. The board directed staff to ensure inspections and code compliance before full business operations begin.
