Trustee says village received $48,900 proposal to add two water services for leased buildings

Mayor Beniamino Mazzulla reminded the board that when the lease for Stone Park Sports & Entertainment was acquired the lease contingency required utilities to be provided for the buildings. The mayor and Building Commissioner Robert Gonzini noted current water is fed from neighboring Melrose Park and that installing the services will require adding water meters and will create two new water billings for the village.
Trustee Teets described the pricing as intended for long-term planning and indicated the proposal covers two buildings. The committee received the report for consideration; no formal procurement action or vote was recorded in the committee minutes.
